Space is an integral constituent of the self. Our psychological sense of selfhood has a spatial dimension which we recognize in our feelings of comfort or unease in response to the places that we visit and inhabit.
At the 100 year mark I believe Canberra has developed an urban aesthetic that has created unique places. I have used multiple exposures of black and white medium format of film of common urban scenes to create new Canberra urban places to explore the aesthetic of the Canberra place.
